This service will remove the video lockout on the RNS-E navigation unit so that the video picture can be seen while the vehicle is in motion. Navigation will be fully functional and there is no need for any other type of external switch or device to "block" the speed signal to trick the unit into thinking the car is not moving. Without this service, the navigation unit will block the video signal as soon as the vehicle starts moving. This is for safety purposes, but is annoying if you want to connect a backup camera or visual ipod kit or similar device that you want to be able to view while the car is moving.
To complete this, you must remove the RNS-E unit from your car and professionally ship it to me. I suggest you take it to a UPS Store or similar shipping outlet and purchase insurance for the full replacement cost of your navigation unit. Make sure the shipping store understands that it is a highly sensitive electronics unit. You will pay a little more for this service but isn't your RNS-E worth it?
Upon reciept, I will recode your RNS-E and return it to you with the latest USA firmware installed (0200).
